Here is the details of the transit connect van. Fittament
Donde consigo esa camara.
Problem with what done is you tapped into your reg light . So that means you have to turn your lights on in order for the camera to work . 🤦🤦 .
He only tapped into the reg light for the camera light. The camera power was taken from the reverse light so it only has power when in reverse
No enough explaination Please make another video explainin the conection at licence plate light and taillight
Sorry to ask but why wouldn't you run the wires through the roof and then into the A pillar... ? You will use less wire and not risk it being cut or worn by the sliding door...
I installed same camera on my ‘16 Transit Connect but the angle is wrong, it points directly at ground and I can see nothing behind me. Is there anyway to adjust by shimming or something?
How did you connect the camera to the reverse light
I'm just going to pay someone to install it.
Where is this sold?

I just installed an Auto Vox CS2 camera on the rear licence plate of my 2017 ford transit connect. I first attached the camera to the licence plate, then I removed the licence plate light, then I used a file to make the corner of the light opening slightly bigger to accommodate the camera cable, ran the camera cable through, then reinstalled the licence plate light. (I think that I will put some silicone around this light now just to make sure to keep water out)....I then removed the left rear lighting unit (4 screws) to get at the reverse light. All of the wires into the rear lighting unit were black, no colours at all. So I used a multimeter to find out which wire running to the reverse light was ground and which was 12v DC. .....I then ran the camera cable back through the door into the van as per this video. I then had to run the camera cable (black and red wires) out through the rubber seal into the rear lighting unit. I had to drill a tiny hole in the rubber seal to do this. Once I had the red and black camera cables ran as far as the reversing light I attached the red camera wire to the 12v wire going into the reversing light, I then attached the black camera wire to the ground wire going into the reversing light. The Auto Vox CS2 provides you with 2 little wire taps for connecting the wires. With a second person and all the tools ready to go it took about half an hour. But It took me a lot of time online to figure all this out before hand, so I hope this can be of help to anyone trying to do this in the future. P.s. camera works just great.
Unable to follow along with the wiring. Redo those portions. Where are you getting them from and where are you cutting exactly?
So the van gets broken into by a thief believing it’s a sat nav left on display?
I have exacly the same van and green/black wire was not right for me!
They don’t explain any removal process, like the tail light or covering and wiring at front.

who's back up camera?
Do you have them in the gloss black as well?
Good, clear video, but way too short. How about a redo, with more of what's happening with the details, especially on running the video cable forward, and routing the wires for the monitor. For something like this, ten or more minutes would not be a waste of my time. I want this system for my TC, but it would be nice for a longer how to do it.
he explains the obvious and skips what we need haha
